We are grateful for the two weeks we were able to spend in Paris. We were blessed by unusually sunny days and warm weather (much nicer than usually expected for this time of year). The Airbnb we were staying in was very well equipped, it had great light, in a non-touristy neighbourhood with great access to transport. We enjoyed spending hours walking around, exploring and absorbing life in France. It was nice for both Alastair and I to get out on our own a bit, the kids enjoyed this freedom as well. School became much more of a priority during our time in Paris, it worked nicely staying in place where we could do this.  We still managed to fit in many of the major sites, some fantastic art galleries, a trip to Disney to celebrate Sophie’s 15th birthday and a Croissant making class (Sophie and Helen). We enjoyed several of the museums, Alastair and Aiden particularly enjoyed the Sewer Museum they visited while Sophie and I were attending our cooking class. We all enjoyed the spent time exploring different areas of the city and sampling different types of French food (and our daily croissants)! A great weekend visit and hangout with Sophies friend Daphne, and her family Erica, Sam and Evan, was another highlight. We enjoyed visiting the Paris science centre and attending a fantastic music concert with them.  Pictures speak better than words!
