Reykjavik
A well know landmark of Reykjavick is the beautiful Lutheran Church of Hallgrímskirkja, it is said to represent the landscape of Iceland, including the glaciers and ice. In front there is a sculpture of Leif Erickson, who discovered Newfoundland and Labrador 500 years before Christopher Columbus.
Kedrid – a geologic wonder. Is it a volcanic crater or something else? The controversy remains, there is a similar smaller crater nearby.
